Before any workmanship, what makes the difference in the design of Vero is the observation – of the trunk, of its shapes, of the features of the boards. The irregularity that characterises the edges of the table represents the memory of the tree from which it originates: human action is an expression of respect and enhancement of those shapes, through the careful removal of the bark, the evaluation of knots and flaming, the joining of the two twin boards through special patented joints, handmade to measure. For all these reasons, each Vero table is a unique piece.

Nature is the inspiration for the uniqueness of Vero. However, an equally important role is played by human creativity. Not only in the enhancement of the beauty of wood, but also in the creation of the elements that give a touch of character to the piece – the finishes, the use of resins to enrich the natural cracks created over the years within the trunk, as well as the extraordinary design legs available in several precious materials. To turn the beauty of nature into a design concept, it is necessary a great deal of raw material of the highest quality – as well as imagination, technology and craftsmanship. Arte Brotto comes up with the concept of its Vero table, thanks to its complete control over the wood supply chain, built up over more than 50 years of history. An entrepreneurial strength that has its clearest representation in the raw material warehouse, where 3,000 m3 of wood of the most valuable essences are stored.
